MTR 143 | BLACK LIVES MATTER | THE MIX TAPE RADIO SHOW

I’ve been contemplating whether or not I should bother doing these weekly mix tapes while so many more important things are going on in the world right now. But, since I work through a lot of my thoughts and emotions by listening to music & putting together mixes/playlists that help empty a bit of my headspace, I’ve been spending most of my headphone time this month listening to more Black voices & stories than my folky/americana white dude tendencies tend to reach for — and I figured if I could mix up another relevant soundtrack that doesn’t distract from the important & vital protests still going on out there, I might as well keep doing that \m/
