20 FROM ’00 | THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES

The (mostly) bi-weekly series ‘THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES’ continues by going back to the year when we all f*cked around with Y2K and found out… that none of the stuff they said would happen happened. 2000. They say that the internet existed back then, and maybe it did for some, but I grew up in rural Alberta and I can promise you that the internet did not exist in my orbit (I guess the rabbit ears on our tv were not strong enough). So this mix is a mix between stuff I was listening to back around the year two thousand + a bunch more stuff that I did not get an opportunity to get into until much later (because news about "indie" bands travelled A LOT slower, if at all, back before everybody got online).
