20 FROM ’09 | THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES

Bi-weekly series ‘THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES’ continues by going back to the year when the Swine Flu pandemic dropped and badly set our expectations for how quickly we’d expect pandemics to just go away. 2009. The same year that Obama was sworn in as the first African-American president (don’t worry he still kept dropping bombs on foreign people like the white presidents) and I began trying to figure out how to get better at doing ‘online stuff’ so I could exit my soulless market research analyst job… unfortunately I chose a kinda pointless 1-year online graphic design course & 12 years later I’m not sure I’m in a much different spot.

And this 2009 mix is a pretty accurate dip into what I was listening to at the time, while also being a pretty accurate dip into what my ears still enjoy from that era (the more things change the more etc)… hope you enjoy!
