20 FROM '04 | THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES

Bi-weekly series ‘THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES’ (where I make a mix for every year I've been alive) jumps from when I was 10 years old in 1993 to a full decade later and I was living in England while being old enough to drink in America. 2004. The year the Boston Red Sox broke their 86-year curse and won the World Series, perhaps unlocking a new curse in a Harvard dorm room called ‘Facebook’. George ‘dubba you’ Bush was somehow re-elected for a second term, we officially found out that the Iraq War was started under false pretences but it was Martha Stewart that was sent to prison, and I was busy hanging out between hostel dumpsters in Nottingham with the Dane I’d still be hanging out with all these years later. And the soundtrack sounded a bit like this.
