19 FROM ’91 | THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES

The (mostly) bi-weekly series ‘THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES’ continues by going back to the year when Operation Desert Storm was getting broadcast on the tv (aka: the first failed George Bush oil war). 1991. It was also the year when Jeffrey Dahmer was making headlines for storing human heads in his freezer for snacks for later, but I was 8 at the time, so it’s all mostly fuzzy pop culture memories. I do remember having some cassettes from this year (Spin Doctors, Amy Grant, Color Me Badd, Boyz II Men), but none of those cassettes made the final mix — so hopefully past-me will understand :)
