THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES go back to the year when both Nancy Kerrigan got her knee whacked and O.J. Simpson took his white bronco on a slow police chase on live tv. 1994. From Kurt Cobain’s suicide to Pulp Fiction coming out to the Rangers beating the Canucks in the Stanley Cup, ‘94 definitely feels like the first year where I was paying much more attention to what was going on in the broader culture at the time things were happening. Which I suppose means 11 was the age when I must have started paying more mind to what was going on in the grown-up world than whatever used to hold my attention in the small bubble that was just being a kid doing kid stuff

This ‘94 mix is a decent mix of stuff I liked back then and stuff I would have liked if the internet had existed… hope your ears enjoy too \m/
