The peace in the world of Lyreca had long been in a state of constant chaos as the tribes of Man and the beast-like Valkast have warred with each other for generations. The Valkast, great in number and with innate magical ability, were not enough to stand against Man’s manufactured power of Transference—the ability that gave Man the edge they needed to defeat the Valkast and scatter them to the far reaches of the world. When it was discovered that there was a place where Man and Valkast had learned to live together, creating children of peace and beauty, and imbued with the best of both races, that union was quickly dispatched and torn apart by old resentments. Now, armies are amassing anew, and warriors from all races must band together to face this new evil, a force they will only be strong enough to defeat if they can cast off the scars of the past and fight…united.
