Goa Electronic Parties is one of the top names in electronic music in Spain and, especially during the last decade, one of the bastions of European club culture. A monthly Sunday festival that brings together thousands of followers of new music trends from all over Spain and Europe. Since its beginning in the 90s, Goa has kept its original spirit, fostering a sense of community among its followers. Its message praises values of coexistence, tolerance, nonviolence and respect for other races, creeds and sexualities, calling on its audience to celebrate diversity.
The music programme is the cornerstone of all events. Goa hires around 200 artists annually in Madrid, offering to the general public globally interesting proposals that do not fit in conventional frameworks. This approach has brought international recognition to the festival as an event of great dimensions among followers of this new way of understanding music in the 21st century: electronic music.
