I've loved house style music ever since I can remember. I like the mechanical, slightly industrial and repetitive, percussive style. Main love from Techno (& minimal, melodic and dark) to Deep House, Progressive House and Trance. Psy Trance and Acid House too.
Picked up a DDJ FLX4 mid-August and self taught how to mix. I know everyone does it nowadays, but, well, this is me :)
Pretty pleased with my first mix, just a test really to see if I could go from uplifting to darker with a bunch of tracks I like. Played a bit with hot cues and some filter effects but not too much that I messed up the mix. Still loads of mistakes, I can't help spotting them (!) so be gentle, I'm still figuring this out.
Ideally I will create my own tracks, and no I was rubbish at music in school, I don't play any instruments, but here starts my journey.
