Born in 1975, music enthusiast, blogger and podcaster, Fabrizio is an incurable vinyl collector, forever on the hunt for new genres and records to listen to and share. It's no coincidence that radio and the DJ booth were, for a good stretch of his life, his natural habitat. Having not yet hung up the needles, he keeps applying the principles of jazz — his first love — to his work (the "real" kind, in the service of ethical finance) and to everyday life, convinced that improvisation and inspiration arise from the convergence of different elements, much as his "mentor" Herman Poole Blunt, aka Sun Ra, used to preach. To the prophet from Alabama he also owes his devotion to Afrocentrism, from the rediscovery of traditional sounds all the way to electronics, his not-so-healthy obsession. Since 2024 he has been hosting a live podcast featuring interviews and guests — musicians, DJs, producers, cultural communicators — produced by Rhizome, a streaming platform and record shop based in Rome.
