Musician, engineer, producer, and now ... DJ! Worked in various situations on both sides of the glass before taking a hiatus from the biz to get some new ideas together. The goal: to merge the jazzy side with those funky/hiphop beats i love. That original material can be found in the 'WAF' playlists.
i still do enjoy playing jazz tunes fairly straight from time to time, so my 'frosted' versions of standards are featured in some of the the 'Blue Jazz Brunch' episodes along with the classics.
'All Over The Place' is a pop-up show where anything goes, as long as it fits how i'm feeling atm.
'Mood Swings'. That's where you'll get to hear a selection of my favourite jazz, progressive, and fusion tracks (mostly on vinyl) but every so often there might be a set where originals take over.
The experimental dj sets (XDJS for short) are for testing out new stuff: software, hardware, dj techniques. i do try to keep it musical but ... i'm really just trying to work ish out there.
