Dru started playing trumpet, keyboards, and drums at the age of 9. He began Djing at the age of 16 and started playing gigs in mid 90's at raves/clubs in Chicago, Milwaukee, and other areas around the midwest. In 1997 Dru also began playing trumpet and touring in a Reggae band called International Connection. They released their first Album in 1998. During that period Dru was also a full time radio DJ and Promotions Director for the station. Then in 1999 Dru moved to San Diego and became a resident DJ at the infamous Club Velvet held at the Del Mar Racetrack. He also began working with Evolution Records and playing trumpet for the Tribe of Judah. In 2003 Dru moved to San Francisco playing regularly at clubs like 1015 Folsom, Ruby Skye, Snow Drift, DNA Lounge, The End Up, Club Six, Mighty, and many underground Burning Man Fundraisers. In 2009 Dru moved to NYC and signed with Fierce Animal Recordings. He also then started his podcast E-Music which at its peak had over 40,000 subscribers
