Description
THE ART OF TRACK SELECTION AND DIGGING Have you ever seen DJ Shadow in a basement record-store digging for records to sample for his productions? That's digging folks, you get dusty fingers after a while. You just follow your desire to find something that moves your heart and soul. So the track selections defines who we are and what a DJ is trying to express. It has to be a careful process with well selected tracks, that represent his style truly. You can't expect to make something special by visiting a Traxsource chart and picking up quick 20 top charted tracks for your mix. It has to be better than that. Your listeners must be able to recognize you from your sound, new, recent or older, even without seeing you physically. Creating your DJ personality out of your music selections, because only music matters. If you put the time and your heart to it, you will feel the satisfaction of doing your best. The rest is simply your success.
