From the depths of lakeside Chicago John Thomas emerged in 2001 playing venues up and down Lake Michigan. His Chicago fanbase increased quickly as fans flocked and let loose at his Crunch Show promotions, and he quickly earned a spot as one of Chicago's premier underground DJS. His onstage antics, his genre defying style, and deep balance of layering music helped him establish himself as a true performer that defied the mainstream music scene.
Thomas currently resides in Austin, Texas though is more prone to be playing across the globe. His sound is a paradox for the ears, and those that follow his shows know his temperament and mood permeates every ounce of the music he plays.
He is consistently listed in the top 400 DJS in the world, but only shows in more mainstream events a few times a year, though easily recognized by many DJ Superstars for his production work and onstage presence. www.therealdjjohnthomas.com
