Funki J is a London-based DJ with a passion for music that knows no boundaries.
Starting out in the bedroom spinning UK Garage, he quickly found his way onto some of London’s leading pirate radio stations and club scenes. As his journey evolved, so did his sound—delving into the art of Turntablism and taking part in international DJ battles, all while building a reputation for versatility and skill behind the decks.
As Funki J grew as a DJ, so did his connection with Dancehall and Ragga, genres that became a powerful influence on his sets. More recently, he’s developed a deep appreciation for South Asian sounds, blending them seamlessly into his mixes to create a truly global vibe.
Stepping away from the live circuit, Funki J now channels his energy into producing and curating live DJ mixes—crafted with precision, passion, and a genuine love for the culture.
This is where the journey continues. Peace & Love, Funki J
