I believe in the magic of exchanging mixes. Like hand writing a letter, a mixtape is an act of creativity & care. Songs collaged together come to life like a flock of birds in flight carrying us into other times, moods & soundscapes of the soul. There is a wild freedom in the way music nomadically travels around between us, in a way that not all of us are able to do due to nation states, borders & visas.... Mixtapes defy borders & separation, connecting our hearts & humanity with each other through musical expression, mood & feeling. For me it is a synesthetic healing experience to sink into the songs and travel with sounds. I hope you enjoy these magical mixtape carpet rides.
