Halogen grew up in the late seventies in the south of Holland. He discovered electronic dance music as a teenager. As his own production skills of dance music developed rapidly he created his first demo CD. The tracks were discovered by Marcel Woods and several were released on his label, Rytmic records.
Later tracks like 'Habituate' and 'Fast escape' scored high in the dance charts (2nd in Belgium and 3rd in The Netherlands) and were respectively released on Yeti records and Bonzai trance progressive, famous Belgian labels.
As a DJ he plays futuristic yet timeless authentic progressive house music.
