Influenced by his father's disco band, Butch's love for music began at a very early age. When good friend and fellow DJ BoogieRonsta first introduced him to a set of turntables in 1999, he took on the task of following in his father's musical footsteps. From there he practiced the art of DJing and eventually joined the DJ collective he represents today, the UnderTheTable Crew. Getting his first start with mobile gigs from house parties, weddings, and school dances. It became clearer to Butch how to get the crowd moving. "The energy and connection that goes back and forth between you and the crowd is something to experience". Butch eventually found his way into the LA club circuit and has played at some of the most premiere nightclubs in Hollywood, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Orange County. From there he hit the DJ battle scene and built upon his success to enter the studio to start producing mixtapes and remixes acquiring inspiration from local radio DJs from LA's then 92.3 The Beat
