Ean Opperman’s satiric wit made him one of the highest rated broadcasters in the country. He did morning shows for some of the West’s biggest stations. His shows featured a Dean-voiced cast of 30+ characters and were #1 in every market from KKDJ-Fresno to KCAL-Los Angeles. At news/talk KMJ he got the highest ratings in the United States and as co-host of the Dean & Don he got the highest ratings in the history of FM radio—a record that still stands. Dean’s work has appeared on MSNBC, Wired, Harpers, Daily Kos, Wall St. Journal, Crooks & Liars, LA Weekly, Politico and the Los Angeles Times. He has 14 comedy albums to his credit, seven as Dean & Don (with on-air partners, Don Fischer and Don DeWolf) and seven as crooner Bobby Volare.
