Musicians like to take us listeners out of ourselves just as we rely on them to take us into ourselves, to express feelings and articulate emotions that are hidden from us and yet so obvious that they are brought to the surface immediately by the music, waves of joy, sorrow, loss and hope instilled by sounds that manage to distill our raw selves down to our true selves.
Bionic soul is musicking that conjures up the frontiers of inner space, musical attempts to transpose our thoughts, feelings, flesh and blood into a sequence of intertwining patterns intended to unlock our hearts, free our minds and move our bodies.
