The bastard child of a funked-out orgy involving Aretha, Irma, JB, Sly, and the Average White Band horn section, DJ Cochon de Lait was abandoned on the streets of New Orleans as a small child. In order to survive, he raised himself on a steady diet of slow-roasted swine and 45s by The Meters until he was old enough to board a Greyhound bus and make a name for himself in The Big Bad Apple.
Having shared the stage with luminaries, such as George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Dr. John, The Metermen with Page McConnell, Galactic, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Trombone Shorty, Kermit Ruffins, Soulive, Rebirth Brass Band, Little Feat, George Porter, Jr. & The Runnin' Pardners, Bonerama, Jon Cleary, and many more, DJ Cochon de Lait has laid down the funk across numerous venues in New York and New Orleans.
DJ Cochon de Lait's life's quest is to put every ass in motion. Don't just stand there. Get down or get the hell out the way.
