Kayleigh Pamela Crystal Smith is undoubtedly a name devised in the hair metal era of the 80’s. In addition to Marrilion, Kayleigh was brought up on a diet of Metallica, Aerosmith, Depeche Mode, Bon Jovi and the Offspring. Despite a lapse during what her friends and psychologists call ‘her Adam Rickitt years’ she slowly developed a taste for electronic music buying her first CD: ‘The Fat of the Land’ which became the first of many in her musical journey from Aphex to Bibio.
Kayleigh was producing and performing from the age of 14 and later began a degree in ‘Film Production and Music Technology.’ She soon succumbed, however, to the temptation for CDs and magic beans, instead opting for the life of the nine-to-five. Kayleigh has now returned to share her passion for Breakcore & Electronica.
