Boris WHY belongs to that rare generation of DJs for whom club culture is not a pose, but lived history. Active for more than 30 years and a defining Audiotheque resident for the past 15, he moves effortlessly between Disco, House and Techno, always grounded in a deep and unmistakable love for 90s House.
His sets balance elegance and impact: warm, sophisticated, rhythmically sharp and guided by a refined sense for atmosphere, timing and soul. He has played renowned venues across Switzerland and sharing line-ups with Chez Damier, Delano Smith, DJ Alfredo, Minilogue, Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap and Soichi Terada.
Vinyl remains at the heart of his artistic identity. Collecting records since day one, Boris WHY has built an archive of around 4,000 pieces — and selected records still travel with him from shelf to booth. Cultivated, timeless and effortlessly cool, with the authority of someone who has never needed to chase trends to stay relevant.
