Description
It is a fact of collecting / curating music that for every album you find likeable, there are going to be a number of cuts that just don't impress on first listen. Other folks managing their audio libraries in this situation simply keep the tracks that impressed and delete the rest. But since I know that my mood during first listen can influence how receptive I am to the music, it seems reasonable to me to come back later, encounter these "lesser" tracks when I'm in a different mood, and maybe *really* hear them then. This wide-ranging downtempo session is the result of such a return exploration.

And thx to @Schoolkids for sharing it: the video on owning/streaming music is by @tedgioia -- one of the top music historians of our time. He is also one of the founders of the Jazz Studies Program at Stanford University.
