Et in Arcadia Ego - Downtempo Light & Dark

The title phrase is Latin ("Arcadia" is a pastoral paradise) and has been given both to a painting by Nicolas Poussin and a portion of Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited. It literally translates to, "And in Arcadia I am" but it is most often taken to reflect its meaning and not just its words, in which case it reads, "Even in Arcadia I exist." Sentiment has been generally divided which is the primary meaning: "even though I’m dead now, I used to live happily in paradise" ... or it could be that Death is speaking, as in: "even when you’re in paradise, I'm there too."

In other words, it's yet another recognition of the yin/yang of existence and our shuttling between opposites, like sun and storm, peace and fury.
