Be-In at the Beach

A bit more than 50 years ago, West Coast hippie culture came to Washington DC in the form of a flyer (https://wapo.st/2RpxXwE ) announcing a gathering to be held at the park called P Street Beach & to be known as a Human Be-In, based on similar sunny gatherings sprouting up out west, in San Francisco, during that "Summer of Love".
