All Lit Up

There's the side of Christmas that's focused on home and family, and there's the other side of Christmas that's all about bright lights and parties … "All Lit Up" is situated squarely on that other side of Christmas, somewhere close to the dance floor. For this set, I partnered with a friend from Texas, Buster the Vanilla Gorilla, whose skills and inventions pushed the mix higher and pushed me to stretch at bit also … plenty of inspiration and education in this tag-team event!

There's a couple of songs on this mix that deserve special notice: one is the irresistible "I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm (Stuhr Remix)" which never fails to get a great response -- so I doubled down on it. Another is the closing track," Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses … this 80s song makes me giddy with pleasure -- must be those horns!
