Thursdays 3-5pm on MainFM Hosted by Emerald Cowell
Beat Happening is a journey through independent, underground, and emerging music from Australia and abroad. Showcasing independent record labels and a thoughtfully curated mix of obscure releases, Emerald moves across genres, from bedroom pop and new wave to jangle, art-pop, left-field, and dance. It’s music that resonates, soundtracking moments that take you beyond the everyday.
