ALIX K -- a house hip-hop & electronic music head since the late 80s when he got hooked on Chris Sheppard's legendary CLUB 102 broadcasts in Toronto, he became instantly infatuated with electronic beats & the sounds of synthesizers and samplers, finding himself glued to the late-night and college radio waves, chopping together countless mixtapes of early house, rap, hip-house and new wave music during his childhood days. Twenty-five years on and now residing in Tokyo, he is still a true underground music aficionado who gravitates toward the deep, dark, serious, sexy & cerebral side of things with a soft spot for hard & dirty percussion. If you're lucky you may find him one weekend laying down his signature deep sounds somewhere in Tokyo...
