After working for years as a promoter and manager of parisian clubs, Afshin decided in 2003 to give life to his own vision of clubbing, defending the idea of quality meaningful music.
This idea lead him to founding the Djoon, allegedly Paris' most soulful club, a club that has received over the years the greatest international underground deejays, and has became a true temple both for dancers and for a colorful and eclectic crowd.
In 2010, he created a label in the image of the club : The Djoon Experience, a diverse pool of talents, open to the global Soulful scene, that sent him touring through Europe with Manoo,Black Coffee,Rocco,Alex Finkin,Culoe De Song,Zepherin Saint.
Meanwhile, he also launched his own residency at Djoon, where he defends the diversity of quality black music and blasts his very own funky My Grooves Edits and soulful house productions.
In the end, My Grooves' motto might as well apply to the club which holds the parties : Just good music, with passion and soul
