@rosannadeanart is on air until 1pm with another instalment of Sounds From The Studio, exploring the lines between sound and art. This month she has chosen eclectic selections across free jazz, classical, techno, drone, and experimental soundscapes for the ways they vibrate and create space and moments of touching and departure that play with light and shadows to sense density.
Rosanna invites you to feel the line vibrate, a drawn line, a violin string, a stave, a direction… thinking about how lines outline, how they body forth shapes, feelings, ideas of things, how people are outlined, how space is delineated, the weight of it, how it vibrates, how it hums, how it touches and how it is touched, how do two things not quite meet, or, how do they bleed. And importantly how imperfections need to be welcome, to begin vibrations… we’re in the realm of exploring subtle colours 🖼️
