‘Iriarte, my grandma’s maiden name, is a Basque word for someone who lives between settlements. I use this as a starting point to explore the in between of spaces, places and time through a selection of field recordings, spoken word, folk, ambient, electronic and experimental music from the Basque Country as well as from other countries across the world and their regions. Today’s show is inspired by a recent trip to Greece and features Tunisian, Spanish and Colombian music as well as an early Rosalía gem.’ @mau_fo
