We focus on presenting high quality music events to a more discerning party goer. UPPERCUT delves deep into genres like Hip-hop, Breaks, Funk, Soul, Dub, and other Bass music.

UPPERCUT hosts a weekly Friday Night event at the Waiting Room on Long Street playing a range of choice beats. The DJs for each show are selected carefully to ensure that the music is a true reflection of the genre, and can be appreciated by diehard and casual fans alike.

Once a month we throw a UPPERCUT Special Edition - Hip-hop Golden era party that celebrates the finest sounds from the nineties. The return of the DJ.
