Soul Cool Records/ Retro Joe - Groove City

RetroJoe started to put this mix together almost three years ago, but it never took off in its original length of nearly 80 minutes. When RetroJoe was invited to submit a mix to SoulCool Records, he felt that this mix of tunes from 1981 showed promise. To get it ready, RetroJoe cut out six of eighteen tracks, effectively trimming one third of the playing time and making its style more consistent. RetroJoe then re-ordered the first five tracks to make it flow better. It is now a bona-fide mix of funky stuff that one can easily groove to!
