There are two types of DJs: Those who merely play tracks, and those who also play crowds. A product of his west coast surroundings and with a musical style all his own, Kostas is a member of the latter group, always picking the perfect song at just the right time.
The son of a professional song writer, Kostas was exposed to a vast array of music early, getting his first guitar at age 6 and recording a full length hiphop album by age 16. His love for djing and house music started in 2006 and soon after he could be found playing sets at clubs around Santa Barbara and Vancouver.
Now, having had residencies in Vancouver, Toronto and California as well as playing all over the west coast from Seattle to Cabo San Lucas, Kostas has taken his love for music across North America while playing alongside diverse and talented artists such as TJR, Lazy Rich, Simon Patterson, Mickey Avalon, Dirt Nasty, Jimmy Vallance, Hirshee and Das Racist. www.soundcloud.com.kostasofficial
