Hi, I'm Jay Rufus, Future Funk artist based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma No, I'm not Macaulay Culkin... From performing internationally, holding residencies, djing in music videos with the likes of Lil' Flip, to sharing the same bill as stars like The Invisibl Skratch Piklz, Benny Benassi, Skrillex, Flux Pavillion, Lindsey Stirling, Dj Serafin, The Nappy Roots, One More Time (Daft Punk Tribute show), DVBBS, Keys N' Krates, Gareth Emery, Carnage, Beats Antique, Steve Aoki, Borgeous, Fergiedj, Candyland, and many, MANY more, I've risen through the ranks and proved to be one major force in the Dance Music scene.
Combining the digital and analog worlds together, a Jay Rufus set brings several elements into my performances, and is not to be missed. :)
I have been rocking the trumpet over turntables, cdjs, and now controllers, all to showcase that one thing that has all but gotten lost in today's electronic scene, LIVE sounds.
