Thomas Young invented energy, Beathoven implemented it into drum ‘n bass.
When you spot Beathoven, you see an artist full of energy. He doesn’t need no Red Bull. His body feeds on the energy commin’ out from the heavy basslines of drum ‘n bass. Influenced by artists like Andy C, Crissy Criss, Kraantje Pappie, Tantrum Desire and Jay-Z, he spins different bass-influenced genres around the vibrating 180 bpm: jump-up over liquid to neurofunk, even maybe a hiphop-track can sneak into one of his sets. He blends it all into one dynamic mix, loaded with double drops and harmonic mixing. His most frequently asked question? 3 decks please!
Beathoven writes the symphony to bring the energy he’s feeling to the crowd. He already put his mark on events like Iced, Conform, Daydream, Moulin Rock, Luna Festa, Springtime and Xbeach. Every person felt the 500 megajoules coming right at them, just like the impact of a lightning bolt. Beathoven orchestrates the energy of the crowd.
