Hi, Good People! I am back with a new instalment of the Nu Cool Lounge series.
Taking my inspiration from Brass Construction’s 1982 LP “Attitudes,” specifically the lead track “E.T.C.,” this collection began to take shape…😍However, do not be fooled into thinking it is all laid-back and Soulful; there are plenty of Funky and Jazzy inclusions to keep you grooving... A heartfelt “Thank You” to those of you who have inspired my selection choices - your influence is deeply appreciated 🙏🏾
Expect music from icons like Roy Ayers Ubiquity, The Whispers, Tower of Power, and Instant Funk alongside some of the UK’s finest: Average White Band, The Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai, and Down To The Bone. Plus a sprinkling of Jazz Funk niceness from underrated greats like Rodney Franklin, Gene Harris, and the late Chuck Mangione, and more.
