Hi, Good People! I am back with a new instalment of the Nu Cool Lounge: A Soulful, Jazzy & Funky Journey series.
In all honesty, I had several tracks leftover from two previous instalments, “Stay” and “One”, and I was keen to use them. Drawing inspiration from the mellower side of The Music Cellar, I utilised the leftover track selections. Combining these, I added a few random selections, and this latest “Mellow Vibes” is the result - warm tones and cool grooves.
Look out for tributes to The Whispers (Walter Scott) and Chris Jasper. Other highlights include Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Marsha Ambrosius, Aleem feat. Leroy Burgess, and Change, plus UK Soul from The Brand New Heavies, Chris Ballin, Vanessa Simon, and Bryan Powell - paired with underappreciated artists like Ronnie Foster, and Alex Malheiros.
