Hi, Good People! I am back with a new instalment of the Nu Cool Lounge: Soulful, Jazzy & Funky Journey series.
It’s just another perfect excuse for me to curate a selection of some of my favourite "mellow vibes" (IMHO), underrated, uplifting, smooth, soulful, jazzy, and funky gems. I have deliberately chosen a blend of well-known names alongside lesser-known yet immensely talented artists to maintain a balanced and exploratory vibe. I truly hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
Expect a rich spectrum of sound, featuring artists such as Rodney Franklin, Gary Bartz, Lonnie Liston Smith, Dexter Wansel, Michael Henderson, and Phyllis Hyman, alongside underappreciated talents like The Reddings, Lillo Thomas, and Lovesmith — plus a few surprises along the way.
