This is a new Mixtape series called "Nu Cool Lounge—A Soulful, Jazzy & Funky Journey," which I put together this week!
I was inspired to create this laid-back collection while listening to some of my favourite old and new tracks over the weekend and Monday morning. As usual, it emphasises the feel-good factor and introduces you to artists you may not have heard of before—or not for a long time.
Music included from popular artists like The Brand New Heavies, Angie Stone, The Brothers Johnson, and Ronny Jordan, alongside talented lesser-known artists such as Kyle Eastwood feat. Ben Cullum, Val B. King feat. Frank McComb, Curt Jones, Laura Fygi, and Ian Martin.
