Is it freedom, is it tradition, is it alive, does it continue to evolve and thrive or is it an art form stuck in time.
This is Volume 5 in what has become a powerful series where I invite my favourite Jazz Djs (and Non Jazz Djs) to select 45 minutes of tracks that defines (albeit briefly) their visions of Jazz and what it means to them. I then attempt to provide my own 45 minutes inspired by their selections.

Scottie's parents owned a pub (where they lived also) that featured live Jazz on a regular basis, so he has pretty much been surrounded by Jazz since he was a child. He bought his first record 45 years ago and in fact his first Dj gig was in his family pub 35 years ago and he's collected vinyl ever since.
