Hi All and welcome to my latest mix, recorded live outdoors last night, 5 September 2026 at Afloat Melbourne on a rather chilly, damp and cold night!
This is Part 1 of a 4 hour live session, where I get to play a rare digital set of tracks I love.
I call it Tropical House but across these 4 Parts you will hear everything from Latin to Afro to Brazilian to Soulful House amongst other sounds. The one unifying point for me is that the tracks are percussion heavy, funky, soulful and transport you to another place, whether it be the dance floor, a beach in Rio, a Carnival or Samba School.
I hope you enjoy it and stay for the 4 part ride, it's worth the free admission price but prepare to dance!
