As I often do when searching soundcloud.com for new music and artists, I come across multiple versions of the same track, both edits, remixes and complete cutups.
In this case it was the 1991 released "Jazz (We've Got)", the 'second single from A Tribe Called Quest's second album The Low End Theory. It samples "Green Dolphin Street" by Lucky Thompson's quartet, from the live album Friday the 13th Cook County Jail, produced by Sonny Lester.' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jazz_(We've_Got))
I thought it fitting that I put together the 14 versions I came across, to show the depth of the original sample and the impact that a Tribe Called Quest has had on Djs, Beatmakers and Rappers.
All are fantastic versions and I hope you enjoy this as much as I did putting it together.
