Description
I have been a massive fan of Dave Lyn's 'Music Without Labels' radio show (https://www.mixcloud.com/Getthis22/) for quite awhile now and try to never miss an episode.
Dave's selections are life affirming, soulful, global in outlook and local in interpretation and storytelling.
Dave has a special way of telling a musical story, drawing links & associations that cross borders, streets, neighbourhoods and musical communities.
There is an affinity with all things driven by rhythm and soul in his choices and the way he speaks about them and the support he shows to the artists and producers of these sounds.
Dave's show is inspiring, full of passion and takes you on a real journey around the world and oh those drums, I hear their call weekly.
I hope you enjoy this set, recorded live on Sunday 4 October at Afloat Melbourne and if you do give it a like, repost, share and comment but even more so go give Dave a follow and check out his wonderful show.
