Ladies and Gentleman without further hesitation I present to you Part 1 of a Live Recording of my Dj Set from 30 October 2014, that had me tearing up the Penny Black beer garden at my fortnightly 'The Rebirth of Cool' residency that has now been running 8 months in Melbourne, Australia.
This was an opportunity on a warm evening, playing outdoors, while keeping jazz front and centre to get real real funky and soulful with my selections, with even some jazzy ska thrown in for good measure! There's lots of drums in this one, but let's not forget that the trombone, vibraphone and yep probably even the xylophone make a regular appearance.
This set is not for the head nodders or office chair sitters, but for those who like it loud and proud and can strut like a Cool Kat or yep even a Jazz Kat!
