For me Jazz is life, the essence of most music I listen to and something I must listen to everyday. It transports me, calms me, challenges me, makes me happy, sad, joyous and ready for my day.
Because of it I have been on Mixcloud 6 years and I have made many friends through sharing it and this here is my 82nd Jazz mix (160th if I include my Jazzy Hip Hop mixes).
All the Jazz in this mix is contemporary, so that in itself brings joy to me, that a genre (what is jazz anyway?) I love is still here, relevant and beautiful.
This is also my second last mix for this year and perhaps for awhile as I take a break for my summer holidays here in Australia and spend some quality time with my family.
