For me Jazz is life, the essence of most music I listen to and something I must listen to everyday. It transports me, calms me, challenges me, makes me happy, sad, joyous and ready for my day.
Because of it I have been on Mixcloud 6 years and I have made many friends through sharing it and this here is my 80th Jazz mix (158th if I include my Jazzy Hip Hop mixes).
This is also for me an ending and a new beginning. All the Jazz in this mix is contemporary, so that in itself brings joy to me, that a genre (what is jazz anyway?) I love is still here, relevant and beautiful.
It is an ending as I will wind down from Mixcloud and posting weekly mixes and being so active on here as the year ends and a new year beckons.
I have much to post still before the year is out but for now I want to say thank you to all who have supported me, followed me, encouraged me, inspired me and shared with me their love of music.
