Welcome to Episode 10 in 'The New Jazz Cool' series, this time I return for a second Volume of Vocal Jazz. Featuring an hour of new jazz music from artists such as Gregory Porter, The Roots, Ambrose Akinmusire, Xiomara, Robert Glasper, Jessie Futerman and Mr Moods, amongst a host of other fabulous artists, there is much beauty and soul to this set, with my aim being to widen the scope of jazz to not only classic sounds but also jazzy hip hop and trip hop. Like all music in this series I believe these artists and producers are both pushing the genre forward while keeping on eye firmly on the past.
