Welcome to Episode 3 of my new series 'The New Jazz Cool' where this time I focus on Horns, yep that's right I'm focussing on the Brass sections that are driving so much of recent Jazz, Funk & Soul bands to ever greater heights of success and that are new, coming up and releasing interesting Jazz based grooves that are more about the dance floor.
As a an avid collector of Jazz both old and new and as the host of The Black Heat Radio Show, I am always on the hunt for new music, new artists and for acts and producers that are both keeping the Jazz genre alive and pushing it's boundaries endlessly on.
